According to new rules of the Russian Federation all foreign participants should live in that place where they are registered, namely a Hotel.

After reservation of a Hotel, the Hotel will provide the invitation for obtaining a tourist visa and send it by fax or e-mail. The price of such invitation is fixed by the Hotel, as a rule is 15 EURO.

For receipt of the hotel invitation for tourist visas you must send to the Organizing Committee by e-mail:discone@mail.wplus.net (after scanning) or by fax +7 (812) 234-4681 the next information about you:

a. A surname and names (as in the passport)
b. Date of birth
c. Number of the passport
d. Citizenship
e. The Fax number where the invitation is possible to send.

After that the Hotel will send you the invitation with that you should apply to the Russian Consulate for the visa.

If, due to requirements of your company or University, you want to receive official visa via the Internal Affairs Ministry you should pay 30 EURO (see #5 of the Registration Fees) and the time of official registration will be not less than one month.

For obtaining the official visa via the Internal Affairs Ministry you should send by E-Mail after scanning the following information about you and your accompanying persons:

- A copy of your passport page, containing the following: photo, number and validity term of the passport
Number and validity of the passport should be well visible on a copy.
- The complete name and address of your organization, phone, fax and your post-office address
- Itinerary
- Arrival/departure

Please send these data by e-mail to discone@mail.wplus.net not later than March 30, 2007

Please, consult the Russian Embassy or Consulate in your country whether they accept a Fax, or an e-mail copy of the Invitation letter. If the Consulate requires an original Invitation letter, we will be obliged to send you this original Invitation letter by express mail because, a normal mail can take one month before arriving to its destination. In this case we will ask you to pay this additional cost arising from the express mailing at your arrival in St. Petersburg.

Please take into account that to obtain the visa without an additional tax for rapid delivery, the formalities can last about two weeks (consult the Russian Embassy Consulate in your country).

Please inform of the date and time of your arrival and departure as well as the flight number the Organizing Committee by e-mail. In this case we can organize picking up at the airport.
