St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI"
The Symposium venue is the oldest Russian Electrotechnical University which was founded in 1886. The first elected Director of the University was the protruding Russian scientist Alexander S. Popov, the inventor of radio.
The University has the following faculties: Radio Engineering and Telecommunication; Electronics; Computer Technologies and Informatics; Electrical Engineering and Automatics; Information-measuring and Bioengineering Systems; Economics and Management; Humanities.
St. Petersburg Scientific and Technical Society of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Communication named
after A.S. Popov
It was created in 1945. The Society unites the scientists, engineers, and students in the field of Radio Electronics and Communication, organizes symposia, conferences, seminars, and publishes their Proceedings.
Radio Frequency Center of the North-Western Federal Area
It was created in 1957 by the order of the USSR Ministry of Communications for spectrum management and monitoring of the radio-electronic means and high-frequency devices.
Discone-Ñentre Ltd.
It was formed in 1988, and is situated at the University "LETI". The Company's interests cover the designing of radio transmitting systems, laboratory equipment for training, as well as some problems lying in EMC area, such as measuring of EM fields.
