Proceedings

Two versions of PRIA-7-2004 Proceedings will be published (in English): 1) before conference - extended abstracts; 2) after conference – special issues of the international journal “Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis” (MAIK “Nauka/Interperiodica” Publishing, Moscow): a) extended abstracts: 2005, Vol. 15, No 1; b) full texts of papers, 2005, Vol. 15, No. 2.


Instruction for authors

Before the submission deadline, please, send your Registration Form to the Conference Secretariat, Moscow (pria2004@ccas.ru).

Guidelines for authors

  1. Submit extended abstracts of your paper in English through PRIA-7-2004 website http://www.eltech.ru/pria2004 or via email (pria2004@eltech.ru).
     
  2. Extended abstracts include summary (2cm indented from the left border and no more than 10 lines in one column), the affiliation, mailing and e-mail addresses of the authors, introduction, problem statement, approach and techniques, results, example, interpretation, conclusion, references.
     
  3. Maximum length is 4 pages A4 (including figures and tables).
     
  4. Text is printed in two columns using Times New Roman font, size 12; space between lines is “single”. Column width – 8 cm, space between columns – 1 cm.
     
  5. Margins size: top – 2 cm, bottom - 1.5 cm. Odd pages: left – 2.5 cm, right - 1.5 cm. Even pages: left – 1.5 cm, right - 2.5 cm.
     
  6. Main Heading is printed in normal bold capitals, font size 14, no hyphenation. Below (separated by “single” space) are initials and names of the authors. They are printed in bold, font size 12, and footnoted. If the affiliation of the authors differs, put a numerated footnote after each last name.
     
  7. Subheadings are printed on a separate line with bold font 12, centered, and separated from the text by one void string above and below.
     
  8. Figures are inserted in the text near the place of their first mentioning. Figures and tables are numerated through the text. Single figures and tables are not numerated.
     
  9. Figure captions are centered by the figure width and printed by normal font size 10. Table number and heading are printed in bold above the table with font size 12.
     
  10. Formulas are printed in separate lines, and centered. Formula number is put in round brackets and lined by the right margin.
     
  11. Pictures can be one column width or two-column width.
     
  12. References in the text are numerated with Arabic figures in square brackets. Reference list is printed with font size 10.
     
  13. Extended abstracts should be provided in MS Word format (*.doc).
