Pre- and post-conference tours
A wide program of tours will be suggested to PRIA-7-2004 participants (St-Petersburg and Velikiy Novgorod). Some of them are described below:
Saint Petersburg (Version 1)
2 days / 1 night
Day 1
Arrival to Saint Petersburg.
Guide meets at the airport/railway station.
Transfer airport/railway station - hotel.
Accommodation in LUXE, SGL or DBL room.
Visit to the Russian Museum (3 hrs). The Museum was opened in 1898 in the Mikhailovsky Palace, built by the architect Rossi. The museum numbers nearly 400, 000 exhibits. It is the largest in the country collection of Russian art, from ancient icons to the Avant-garde paintings of the XX century.
Transfer to the hotel. Spare time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Guide meets at the lobby at 10:00 a.m.
Departure for Pushkin and Pavlovsk (5,5 hrs) – the former summer residences of Russian emperors. Visit to Catherine’s Palace & Park in Pushkin and Grand Palace & Park in Pavlovsk. Lunch/Dinner at the restaurant “Podvorje” (extra pay).
Transfer to the hotel. Spare time. Overnight at the hotel.
The conference will start next day.

Visit to St. Isaak’s Cathedral (3 hrs) – outstanding monument of XIX century’s architecture, the former main Orthodox Church of Russian Empire.
