The Hotel was built in 1978 and renovated in 1999. It is located on the Basil Island on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. There is a largest exhibition center "Lenexpo" not far from the hotel. The State Hermitage Museum, the Peter & Paul Fortress, Mariinsky Theatre are also closely situated to the hotel.
